It has been a lengthy hiatus but a productive one. In the time I have been away I now have a new son and have crossed some important milestones in my practice.
The son is Benjamin Davis Key, a perfect baby boy born on September 10. I would never have guessed I would be the patriarch of a family of five. We are a household of many smiles and yawns.
I was honored to have been chosen one of twelve lawyers on the Fulton Daily Report's On the Rise edition for criminal appellate advocacy.
I authored an amicus brief on behalf of GACDL encouraging the grant of interlocutory appeal. The case, Mussman v. State, was chosen for interlocutory review.
Last week, I won an unwinnable case and saved my client a twenty-year sentence after turning down a plea recommendation for fifteen years to serve. That feat deserves its own post.
No posts In a while, but I have not been bored.
